Kleinwort Benson has hired Andrew Wheeler for the newly-created role of executive director of business development within private wealth management.
Stephen Rothwell, head of private wealth management at Kleinwort Benson, said: ‘We are continuing to build a formidable private wealth management team and Andrew is a strategic appointment for us. Wheeler, who joins the firm in July, will report to head of wealth planning Marianne Kafena.
Wheeler was a partner at Absolute Fund Managers. Prior to that he was a vice president at Deutsche Bank Private Banking in London, before moving to Unigestion where he helped grow the family investment office.
