Fidelity FundsNetwork have announced that they will make 50 physically-backed exchange traded funds (ETFs) available on its platform from next week.
The platform will launch a initial range of ETFs from Credit Suisse, ETFS, HSBC and iShares on June 18 and make them available alongside all of other funds offered “in a fully integrated way”.
John Chapman, managing director at independent financial adviser Torquil Clark, says: “It’s a progressive step to add ETFs to the platform with a separate explicit charge.
“The integration of such instruments is an indication of a broadening proposition prior to the introduction of RDR [retail distribution review].”
