Pioneer Investments has appointed Brian Clay as head of its UK wholesale business as part of its ongoing work to increase its presence.
The role will see Clay build relationships between the Boston-based asset manager and UK distribution networks, multi-managers and discretionary managers. He will be based in London and report to UK and Ireland distribution head David Hanratty.
Clay joins Pioneer from Janus Capital, where he was head of sales for intermediary wholesale and sub-advisory business. He has over 20 years of experience in financial intermediary sales, with 11 of these focused on investment sales to UK financial institutions.
