Allianz Global Investors has appointed Andy Wiggins head of institutional business in the UK.
Wiggins joins from Threadneedle where he was head of UK institutional client relationships.
Prior that he was director of client relations at AllianceBernstein and also spent eight years as a principal at Mercer.
In the newly created role, Wiggins will assume leadership of the UK institutional business development team and will also be a member of the AllianzGI European business development team.
