Kames Capital joint chief executive and chief investment officer Andrew Fleming has stepped down after eight years with the firm.
The asset manager is splitting Fleming’s role with Aegon Asset Management CEO Sarah Russell taking over as Kames CEO while a long-term replacement is sought.
Jones has spent 11 years with Kames, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aegon, co-heading the fixed income sector with David Roberts in that time.
