Ian Pascal is replacing Rob Page, who will leave the company in July for Henderson Global Investors.
Based at the London headquarters, Pascal will report to Harriet Steel, global head of business development and lead Hermes’ global institutional and wholesale marketing strategy and will head all corporate communications.
Pascal joins from Baring Asset Management, where he spent 11 years and was most recently head of the firm’s global marketing strategy. Prior to Barings, he held senior marketing positions at Old Mutual Asset Management and Hill Samuel Asset Management.
