PIMCO has named former Macquarie division director Adrian Stewart as its new Australian country head.

Based in Sydney, he starts in the role on August 11. He will be responsible for leading PIMCO’s business in Australia, including serving the firm’s institutional and wealth management clients.

The announcement follows the news that Eric J. Mogelof will replace Kim Hong as head of PIMCO Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.
