Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has announced the promotion of Andrew Hitchings to Head of UK Institutional Business.
In his expanded role, he will be responsible for ensuring that LGIM focuses on developing and delivering an exceptional client experience. Andrew joined LGIM in September 2012, as Head of Large UK Clients, from State Street Global Advisors.
In addition, LGIM as also announced the following new appointments:
Johan Rydqvist joins from Merrill Lynch in the newly created position of European Sales Manager.
John Tsalos joins from Standard Life in the newly created position of Head of Defined Contribution (DC) Distribution and Product Strategy.
Victoria Parrish joins as Head of RFPs and Marketing Analytics.
Hugh Cutler, Head of Europe and Middle East said, “We have experienced significant levels of client-led growth in the last few years, particularly in areas such as DC in the UK, Active Fixed Income, Index and Property in Europe”
