Colonial First State has appointed Geoff Peck as its new general manager, marketing and distribution as part of a reshuffle in its upper management.
Peck joined CFS at the beginning of March and will report to Linda Elkins, CFS executive general manager.
Previously the managing director of individual customers at Russell Investments from 2009 until 2012, he is an active contributor to the financial services industry working with both the Financial Services Council (FSC) and the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).
He was a non-executive director of AIA Australia from 2007 to 2011 and for BT Financial Group from 1993 until 2006.
In other changes, Scott Durbin, who was the acting general manager, marketing and distribution has taken over the role of general manager strategy at CFS and will also report to Elkin. This role was previously filled by Nicolette Rubinsztein.
Rubinsztein has been seconded to work on “CFS’ wealth strategy project,” according to the CFS spokesperson.
