European asset manager Carmignac Gestion is to launch a range of 10 funds for UK investors as it opens its London office.
The asset manager will target wealth managers, family offices, private banks, IFAs and institutional clients.
Eric Helderlé, managing director at Carmignac Gestion, says: “The depth and sophistication of its fund management industry makes the UK a key market for us.
“Strategically, it’s an opportune time to set up in London given the changing framework of retail distribution.”
He adds: “The London office is a significant milestone in our strategy of paced European expansion aimed at promoting customer choice and open architecture.
