Lombard Odier, one of the largest Swiss independent private banks by managed assets and Geneva’s oldest, has reinforced its commitment to the Middle East with the appointment of four seasoned relationship managers: Giridhar Bhatia, Arif Al Suwaidi, Pradip Gupta and Yazen B. Abu Gulal.
Giridhar Bhatia has joined as a senior vice president from his position as vice president, senior relationship manager at Credit Suisse.
Three further staff have joined as vice presidents. Arif Al Suwaidi has held roles at RBS Coutts and UBS Wealth Management in London, and most recently built a team of private bankers to cover the Middle East and North Africa region for private banking group Emirates NBD.
Also joining from Emirates NBD are Yazen Abu Gulal, who was a director in the private banking offshore team, and Pradip Gupta.
